Curious about SATYA? I made a video to help

Almost always, I start of my classes with some SATYA movements. These are gentle, slow actions which release and hydrate fascia, engage the parasympathetic nervous system, and attune our minds to our bodies. My classes are called ‘Mindful Alignment Yoga’ and SATYA is a part of my mindful movement practice. Slow breathing… Focus on what is happening now…

Since most of these movements are done on our backs with eyes closed (and therefore hard to see), I thought I’d make a video to show you some of the most common actions we do.
